Ralph & Judy Stewart

Ralph & Judy Stewart, 1964 Fairmont State Graduates and members of the 1865 Heritage Society, have made a bequest in their wills to establish an endowed scholarship at Fairmont State so that future students will have the same opportunities to learn and grow. "FSU has a very special place in our hearts and lives. We met there, graduated in 1964, and married the next week. What an action packed 4 years! Playing 3 varsity sports, active in TKE, Gamma Chi Chi, and carrying heavy class loads has us tired just thinking about it. But, with all of those and the solid education given at Fairmont State, we were prepared for a successful life journey. In later years, we were blessed to serve on President's Advisory Board, and Ralph was honored as Alumni of the Year in 2003. It was at this time, that we really witnessed the continued growth and impact the university was making. We felt FSU needed to be part of our giving, now and future. Since soccer has been such an integral part of our life we prayed about creating a Scholarship Fund for the Women's Team, and the FSU Foundation staff have been excellent supporters in working with us to do just that.
